That Christmas wedding blog

Christmas wedding in Malta

We have written a Christmas blog nearly every year so far…but this won’t stop us from writing about this subject again. Its just too magical and bright not to. Life is full of dull moments and this time of year brings so much sparkle in the midst of all the hustle and bustle. So here we go again. Just stay with us if you wish to, or if you’re not into Christmas that much, hope to see you next time…

Are you dreaming of an unforgettable Christmas wedding? Tying the knot with a winter wonderland backdrop, family and friends in attendance, and a festive holiday atmosphere can make your special day even more magical. For couples abroad who are looking to plan their special Christmas nuptials, getting the perfect ambiance takes lots of thoughtful preparation – especially when you’re working from afar! But don’t worry; we’ve created this blog post full of helpful tips and ideas for making your destination wedding everything you thought it would be. From colour palettes to décor ideas, let’s explore how to create an idyllic celebration that honours both your love story and everyone’s favourite flower-clad season: Christmastime!

One of the most exciting parts about planning your wedding is designing and sending out your stationery. If you are planning a destination wedding for around the holidays, you get to make the most of the season by incorporating classic Christmas design themes into your stationery. Don’t Be Afraid of Red and Green: Yes, these colours are traditional for the season but that doesn’t mean they should be overlooked! Your guests will expect you to use them in one way or another, so don’t be afraid to add them into your design—just remember that it should complement the winter season. Consider adding reds and greens as accents on things like save-the-dates, menus, and place cards.

When it comes to adding festive touches to your wedding aisle, there are so many options available. From snow-covered trees, wreaths, and mistletoe, to tree ornaments and other beloved Christmas traditions, you can create a magical atmosphere with festive décor. And don’t forget about ribbons and bows! These are classic elements that can add texture, colour, and sparkle to any aisle. Plus they come in all different sizes and colours so you can customize them to match the overall look and feel of your wedding. If you want to keep things more natural but still incorporate some seasonal elements into your walk down the aisle, consider bringing in some winter foliage like pinecones or evergreen branches for added texture. If you want something more luxurious look into using floral arrangements with pine cones or dried oranges for added detail.

When you’re planning a winter wedding, you want to make sure that it feels magical and special. For those couples getting married at a destination over the holidays, there’s no better way to create that special atmosphere than by embracing the Christmas spirit with your reception space. Here are some great tips on how to bring the outdoors in for your Christmas wedding reception ideas.

Nothing says “Christmas” quite like twinkling lights! There are so many ways that you can incorporate these into your reception space—from stringing them across the ceiling or walls to weaving them through trees and branches in large planters or even creating mini trees with lights as table centrepieces. Your supplier needs to have plenty of extension cords handy!

Create a Festive Bar Area
The bar area is usually one of the most popular spots during any holiday party, so consider going all out here! Incorporate festive colours like red and green into glassware, napkins, and other decorations. Hang garland from mirrors behind the bar or wrap bottles with twine for an extra touch of holiday cheer. Of course, don’t forget about hot drinks like eggnog! Having a variety of festive options available will definitely get people in the holiday spirit (and help keep them warm if it’s cold outside!).
With these tips in mind, you can easily create a beautiful winter wedding reception space that celebrates both Christmas and your marriage!  Have fun playing up this special time of year as part of your wedding celebration!

There’s something for any budget and any style of wedding. A great combination of festive and traditional can be achieved by giving your guests an etched ornament with your wedding date on it. The ornament will serve as a reminder of your special day for years to come, plus it doubles as a Christmas ornament that your guests can hang on their tree every year!

Another combination would be to give each guest a personalized mug or stemless wine glass with the date of your nuptials etched into it. These mementos are both practical and meaningful; They will remind everyone of your special day each time they take a sip from their mug or glass! You could also include some custom hot cocoa packets or tea bags as part of the gift. That way, they can cosy up at home with a warm beverage while reminiscing about your destination wedding!

The last thing that will make sure everyone talks about your amazing wedding feast is having an impressive centrepiece dish. Think about what kind of main dish would really wow everyone and have them talking long after they’ve eaten their fill! Having something unique like a roast goose stuffed with apples and dried fruits would certainly do the trick! Don’t forget to include classic side dishes like stuffing and yams too so that everyone gets their fill of classic holiday flavours.

Incorporating dishes from your family’s traditional Christmas menu into your wedding reception will ensure that everyone has something delicious to eat while celebrating this special occasion! That’s why dining is made easy with a Christmas wedding; it’s a great way to bring together friends and family from near and far over delicious food that reminds them of home during this special time of year.
