For the second year in a row Wed in Malta managed to keep it’s top ranking position and win the prestigious title “Service Excellent Award” given by the Luxury Travel Guide London.
Spring…..possibly the most popular of seasons where everything feels new again, the one with the vibrant flair and colorful soul. It is also the season where weddings are in full bloom and the colour palette is airy and cheerful. Here are a few things to consider for your Spring wedding in Malta.
In the past weddings themes did not exist. Weddings had to be elegant, stiff and palace appropriate. Times have changed, and with that change comes an array of ideas for different themes, some which we have spoken about in other posts. With carnival weekend in full swing, we thought of dedicating this post to a flair of colours, bright ideas and daring twist for those who are after something a bit different.
Weddings in Gozo are just as popular as those in the main land Malta. Couples do request venues in both islands and although only a 20 minute boat ride away this island is nothing like big sister Malta. Gozo is laid back, quaint, charming and has lots of potential when it comes to weddings.
Last weekend i had the opportunity to participate in one of the leading exhibitions in Ireland which took place in Belfast. A show run by professionals who clearly know what they are doing and have improved throughout the course of time.
Sad the Christmas festive season is over?….. Lets start looking forward to the next celebration shall we? Nothing less than Valentine’s day
You might want to plan ahead and do that something romantic.
I decided to dedicate the first one to planning, but not the planning that you are already thinking of, lets take a few steps back. Many couples decide on wedding abroad with the hope to visit places before deciding on the final wedding destination.
As the year comes to a close in a few days, it is time to reflect on what 2018 has brought to us, what we could have done better and what we have learnt. There is always room for improvement in anything we do in life, as life itself is a learning curve.
And it’s that time of year….decorating mince pies, eating lots of chocolate, drinking nice mulled wine…and yes marriage proposals. Lots of them happen during the holiday season. It’s that magical vibe around where everyone is more chilled and content which makes it all so special.
The wedding Journal show runs in both Dublin and Belfast and this year we are proud to be participating with our own little stand at the Belfast show on both the 2nd and 3rd February in the aisle dedicated solely to destination weddings where we will be putting Malta on the map, offering so much more to couples than just a sea view wedding venue.
