Looking for the perfect wedding date? Let your imagination soar! Consider tying the knot on a holiday, occasion, or meaningful numerical date that holds a special place in your heart. With countless options like New Year’s Day or National Pet Day (4.11.24), you can make your ‘I Dos’ even more magical. To assist you in choosing the ideal date, we’ve gathered the most desirable dates, celebrations, and even full moon nights.

Celebrate new beginnings in style this January with a winter-themed wedding. Stay cosy with a faux fur shrug and ensure your guests are warm with blankets although the likely hood of bad and cold weather in Malta is pretty remote you might be lucky and get away with needing anything at all.

For beautiful wedding floral arrangements, incorporate tulips, amaryllis, white gardenias, red or white roses, and purple delphiniums. For a chic look, combine black, white, and gold as your wedding colours and include white roses or gardenias in your floral selection.

Mark your calendar for these upcoming holidays in January: New Year’s Day, Cuddle Up Day, and Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Don’t miss out on lucky days like January 2, January 20, January 25, January 27, and January 28. Plus, don’t forget to celebrate Cute Days on January 1 and January 24. Finally, keep an eye out for the full moon on January 25.

February offers a range of exciting options for your wedding theme. You can embrace the cosy winter atmosphere or incorporate vibrant colours from Valentine’s Day and Mardis Gras to add some excitement to your palette.

This year, February includes a rare leap day, making it an excellent choice for a unique wedding date that few others can have. For those who prefer an easy-to-remember date, consider Saturday, 4th February   or Saturday, 24th February (24.2.24). February 24 also coincides with a full moon, which, according to Greek mythology, is considered one of the luckiest times of the month to tie the knot.

Get ready for an exciting and vibrant March in 2024! With St. Patrick’s Day, and Easter all happening in the same month, it’s a celebration-packed time. Join in the St. Patty’s festivities on Sunday the 17th and add some fun green drinks to your menu.

As Spring blossoms, embrace the beauty with stunning floral arrangements for your wedding ceremony and reception. March and Spring are the perfect times for pastel colour palettes, with shades like yellow, red, pink, and purple. Keep your décor simple and let your flowers steal the show during your nuptials.

Don’t miss out on the exciting holidays and lucky dates in March. Daylight Savings Time, St. Patrick’s Day, the First Day of Spring, Palm Sunday, and Easter are all happening this month. Easter is a big thing in Malta and if you love destination traditions combining your Wedding with the Easter holidays might be the best idea.

Get ready for a memorable, eventful, and colourful month of March!

Get ready for the wedding season! April and May are the perfect months for tying the knot. This month offers some exciting wedding dates, including Saturday, 20th April (20.4.24) and Wednesday, 24th April  (24.4.24).

If you’re a pet lover, don’t forget to include your furry friend in your special day. Whether you have a well-behaved doggo or a shy cat, there are ways to honour their presence. From specialty cake toppers to creative decorations, you can keep their spirit alive on your memorable day.

Lastly, don’t forget to bask in the beauty of the full moon on Tuesday, 23rd April.

Step into a world of vibrant colours as spring continues to bloom in May. From green to red, pink to purple, and yellow to make their grand entrance in stunning floral arrangements. With the warm weather, the options for your ceremony and reception florals are endless. Get bohemian with gorgeous snapdragons, embrace romance with fragrant lilacs, or go tropical with exotic orchids. May offers a wide array of flowers to create the perfect atmosphere for your special day.

But May isn’t just about weddings. There are plenty of holidays and special days to add even more excitement to the month. Mark your calendars for Star Wars Day on the 4th May and Mother’s Day on the 12th May. And if you’re looking for lucky days to say “I do,” consider Friday, 3rd May, Thursday, 9th May, or Friday, 31st May. For a cute and memorable date, don’t miss out on Friday, 24th May  (24.5.24).

June is about more than just beautiful weddings. It’s also National Pride Month for the LGBTQ+ community. Embrace the vibrant spirit by incorporating rainbow colours into your same-sex ceremony – from your attire and florals to your wedding cake. Let your love shine with a joyous celebration.

Mark your calendars for some important dates in June. Pride Month runs from 1st June to the 30th June, while Father’s Day falls on  the 16th June.

Don’t forget to gaze up at the starry sky on June 21 to catch sight of the full moon, adding a touch of magic to your June festivities.

Celebrate July with a wedding date that captures the essence of summer! Not only do you have Independence Day to look forward to, but also National Ice Cream Day. Imagine incorporating fresh strawberries, juicy watermelons, and even an indulgent Watermelon Mojito into your reception. Let us help you bring these delightful details to life for your special day!

Mark your calendar for other notable dates in July: International Kissing Day on the 6th July and National Ice Cream Day on the 21st July. And don’t forget that this is the safest month to get married in Malta. The likelihood of getting a single drop of rain is very remote…

Make the most of August with its long summer days by throwing outdoor celebrations. Don’t miss out on National Smores Day – you can even have a smores bar at your reception! And why not include your beloved dog in your wedding ceremony? Flower dogs are a trendy and adorable addition to any special day. Mark your calendars for International Beer Day, National Smores Day, and National Dog Day. Plus, keep an eye out for the full moon on the 19th August.

September 2024 is a month full of exciting dates! The first Friday the 13th of the year falls right after the beginning of Fall. If you’re a fan of this special day, make sure to secure your spot on the 13th September  as an alternative. Embrace the spooky vibes with macabre-inspired decorations and let your love for autumn and Halloween shine.

Capture the warm essence of late summer and early fall with colour palettes featuring greens, yellows, and oranges. Sunflowers are particularly popular during this time, so consider incorporating them into your wedding décor and floral arrangements.

To add some celestial magic to your month, a full Supermoon will light up the sky on the 17th September.

Get ready for fall vibes and pumpkin spice lattes because October is the perfect month for weddings! Just like September, the color palettes for October weddings feature beautiful yellow and orange hues, but with a twist. You’ll also see burnt tones of orange, red, and brown added to create a cozy and romantic atmosphere. Imagine saying “I do” surrounded by lush trees in all those gorgeous autumn colors at Granite Rose by Wedgewood Weddings – a stunning fall venue.

But that’s not all – October is also a favourite among Halloween lovers, and it’s easy to see why. Embrace the macabre themes, decorate with pumpkins, and create spooky vibes to make your wedding truly unforgettable. And with a supermoon on the 17th October, you can take your Halloween theme to the next level. Add fog machines, dress in dark velvet and lace attire, and choose moody décor to create an eerie and magical atmosphere.

Mark your calendars because October is packed with special days. Celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day on Monday, October 14, and get ready for a Spooktacular Halloween on Thursday, 31st  October . Diwali, the festival of lights, also falls on Thursday, 31st October, making it a day of double celebrations.

Celebrate the fall season with cosy additions to your outdoor wedding in November. Although November is still a very mild month yuo could incorporate hot apple cider bar and add plaid throws to your attire for comfort or just for the fun of having a wedding in a traditionally cold month in a warm destination.

Celebrate the joy of love and friendship in December, a month filled with festivities and holidays. With Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and Hanukkah all happening, there’s plenty of reason to embrace the spirit of celebration! Add a touch of winter-inspired décor and deep red tones to your wedding for a festive feel.

December is also the perfect time to experiment with vibrant jewel tones for your wedding colour palette. Let your bridesmaids and groomsmen shine in a variety of colours and opt for stunning floral arrangements. Classic colour pairings like champagne, black, white, and silver are also a great choice for this time of year, just like in January.

Mark your calendars for these special days: Christmas on December 25th, New Year’s Eve on December 31st, and the slightly spooky Friday the 13th on the 13th December which also happens to be a public holiday in Malta.
