The couple got in touch with us a while ago and like many couples had everything set for a spring wedding last May on the beautiful island of Gozo. Nothing would have prepared them for what was to hit the world, and in their world this year was all about their destination wedding. With all the plans up in smoke, airports closed and a global pandemic, they decided to give May a miss and head towards a more reasonable, yet a still questionable October, hoping this would be more plausible.
Even though many couples around the globe had to kiss goodbye their wedding this year and make arrangements to postpone to another date, wedding trends kept going strong just like nothing ever happened.
There is always a reason why a couple would decide to elope, but whatever the reason is, Malta and Gozo are surely the destinations that hosts with welcoming arms these couples. We are blessed with a vast number of venues, gardens and beach locations which cater for intimate weddings.
Christmas is a great time for reflection, and for remembering what we have achieved throughout the year. Wed in Malta has experienced an extraordinary 2017, filled with emotions, tremendous pride, and most importantly some truly magical wedding days.
Just because your wedding is considered to be a small one it does not mean that less attention given or it is less important that the larger ones. We are seeing an increase in weddings in Malta, and this means that there is definitely a positive side to it.
