This is the story of Aline and Harms, a very sweet couple from the humble town of Bonn, the birthplace of the great Beethoven. The couple got in touch with us a while ago and like many couples had everything set for a spring wedding last May on the beautiful island of Gozo. Nothing would have prepared them for what was to hit the world, and in their world this year was all about their destination wedding. With all the plans up in smoke, airports closed and a global pandemic, they decided to give May a miss and head towards a more reasonable, yet a still questionable October, hoping this would be more plausible.
We as their planners, got in touch with all the suppliers and made sure that everyone was on board to move to this new date, finding all involved very flexible and understanding. Roll onto October and with measures in place, hand sanitizers, masks and social distancing to name a few, Aline and Harms tied the knot amongst a number of family members and close friends, making it a late night to remember. Aline goes down as the rock ‘n’ roll bride who wouldn’t get off the dance floor to save her life and Harms as the all-time romantic he proved himself to be. At least this is the beautiful picture we have made of them whilst getting to know them and more so on the day of their wedding.
Gozo will always be a special place for our German couple and 2020, like for many others will be remembered…this time for all the good reasons. A huge congratulation to our happy couple!
