Congratulations, you have set your mind and followed your heart and you are getting married on the beautiful island of Malta. The next step is for you to choose the right venue, and this can be a daunting decision.
I had the honor of meeting Hope and Sena early last year. After a few exchange of emails they had decided to come to Malta and see for themselves whether our little island was really the destination of their choice for their wedding.
Malta and more so it’s capital city Valletta, will be celebrating, as it will hold the title of the European Capital of culture, bringing the most amazing cultural festivities for all age groups all around the streets of Valletta.
Some people dismiss the fact that our summer month can be very hot. This year in particular has been one of the hottest I can remember, making it unbearable to stay outdoors at any time, especially during the day.
You have been preparing for this since…forever and you certainly want to remember this day for the rest of your life. Marrying your best friend and lover what has made you come so far But there’s another goal at base:
Traditionally we all associate saying ‘yes’ with happiness, joy, and the illusion of a stress free lead up to the wedding of our dreams.
As the weather gets warmer, days grow longer and nights get balmy, making it perfect for outdoor weddings. Malta has many venues that offer great outdoor spaces for entertaining. Today I want to focus on a romantic, floaty draped décor. I have always had a love for tents, draped materials over frames to give an open tented canopy feel.
And so we are nearly there, all set and sorted, wedding planner is looking after everything and we have twenty four hours to go. How do we spend it? What shall we do? Well here are a few suggestions for do’s and don’ts for that day.
While brainstorming for ideas about topics to write about we thought about a series of blogs about locations and venues with a difference. The first location in the series is Marsalforn Gozo where the saltpans are located.
