The day before

And so we are nearly there, all set and sorted, wedding planner is looking after everything and we have twenty four hours to go. How do we spend it? What shall we do?  Well here are a few suggestions for do’s and don’ts for that day.

Do spend time with family and friends, do go out and do something you enjoy, stick to your exercise routine. Keep yourself well hydrated and eat properly. Go for a relaxing late afternoon or evening massage and then go home, unwind a bit further relax and have a good sleep.

I strongly suggest and advice that you do not do anything of the following. Rush around checking up on things that are sorted and organised, your wedding planner has it all in hand. Try new products, stick to what you have been using and know.  Go for a facial, or colour your hair, these need to be planned in advance with your therapist throughout the lead up to your wedding day and not left for the day before. Consume caffeine and deep fried foods. Plan a night of heavy drinking or a day at the beach especially if you are not used to the Maltese sun.

In actual fact all of the above is just plain old common sense, but actually having a plan for relaxing and unwinding on the day before is a good idea it will stop you from getting bored and worrying unduly.
