Some people dismiss the fact that our summer month can be very hot. This year in particular has been one of the hottest I can remember, making it unbearable to stay outdoors at any time, especially during the day.
Having couples living in different countries and very different climates makes it a bit more challenging to channel through the importance of starting the ceremony or wedding mass a bit later in the day. Apart from having to get ready in the worst time possible one needs to also take into consideration a few technical details:
It is likely that the guys will be wearing a full suit. Melting is an understatement.
The bride and bridal party are likely to be in long heavy dresses.
Make up can of course hold if the right products are used, however don’t expect miracles
Flowers thrive in water and cool temperatures, once in hot temperatures these little blissful creatures will not be able to look as beautiful as when delivered to your hotel room.
Having lovely photography in the peak hours is somewhat impossible. It is way to bright to achieve natural looking photos.
Talk to your wedding planner in Malta and raise these concerns as we are used to these temperatures and can speak from experience.
