Popeye’s village was the backdrop for a beautiful love story which saw it’s culmination on the 13th May. I had the pleasure to meet Aoife, our radiant bride with the biggest infectious smile and a positive attitude which is hard to come by these days back in February 2019 during a weddings fair in Belfast. She confirmed the wedding in Malta there and then but the journey to their wedding was not the easiest. Besides the fact that Aoife and Enda and equally beautiful soul (whose mission is to please his now wifey), had to trust us with their wedding from many miles away they encountered Covid which led to a full year delay and a postponed wedding which they can talk about for years to come. Like many couples this was something they never envisaged, but it didn’t let them destroy the day and this year they made it happen and shared their vows in front of their lovely family and friends who travelled from Ireland to Malta to celebrate this magical day with them.

Popeyes village was their venue of choice and the day went on without a glitch. This venue offers the fun aspect of what one would expect from a place like this and more. The views are spectacular and the colourful houses seen on the movie many moons ago are a reflection of Aoife and Enda’s personalities.
