Most women dream of being proposed to one day or another, especially if Mr. right has been found. There is no better experience than feeling the happiest person on the planet when that moment arrives.

This was the case for May and Jose last Sunday when May was surprised and scooped off her feet by her fiancee to whom she replied with a “YES”

Jose got in touch with us just over 3 months ago wishing to create that special moment for his partner. He was after something simple, yet romantic, nothing too over the top yet special ‘just like May’ he accented in his very first email communication to us. They had never been to Malta so a little help with ideas was something he was after. We came up with the idea of having them visit the Upper Barrakka Gardens at sunset and get to the iconic balcony to enjoy the beautiful surrounding of the 3 cities just across the grand harbour. Mother nature was very generous and awarded us with this beautiful red sky backdrop.

Our photographer acted as an accomplice and with a straw hat and flip flops he was easily camouflaged as just another tourist in the area. At one point Jose pretended to move towards the fountain in the middle of the garden to an area with a cluster of heart-shaped candles and flowers we had set up just before. With a puzzled look May found herself being proposed to by her soulmate who dropped on one knee in the encircled spotlight of candles whilst declaring his ever lasting love.  Of course the beautiful diamond ring followed and May was pretty much speechless.

The photoshoot continued and they both shared some bubbly whilst other garden goers cheered and congratulated them. Jose and May continued with a stroll around the city which ended at one of the most romantic restaurants with majestic views of the Valletta surroundings.

May and Jose are expected to share their “I Do’s” next year and once again they chose Malta as their wedding destination. We are honored to be part of this journey.
