September has been a busy month for us and with that came being part of some lovely weddings and beautiful couples, we can now call friends.
On the first day of the month we had the pleasure to meet for the first time Rica and Kayne, a young and very energetic couple who decided to come all the way from down under to tie the knot in Malta and make romantic history between the them.
The following day another lovely couple tied the knot in what we can describe asĀ non conventional, colourful, authentic and very romantic Indian wedding. Pravina and Suki who also celebrated their Mehndi night in Malta just a couple of days before the wedding.
Some adjectives might not be right enough to describe the chemistry there is between these two. A fireworks of joy which translated into their glorious day made for them and their guests.
Kim and Simon, a shy couple who also traveled very far for their special day and chose to be alone and have simply each other and take as much in as possible to make it just theirs. All the way from New Zealand Kim and Si (as Kim calls him) vouched not only their love for each other but to travel and keep visiting places with Malta being their top destination yet!
Adrienne and James, a couple we only met a couple of times before the wedding day. Addy being very precise on how the day had to run and James a typical laid back groom who showed enthusiasm yet let Addy’s dream wedding come true the way she wanted it to be. A lovely couple, a beautiful family and a successful wedding which saw the morning after daylight! These guys know how to throw a good party!
Mhiari and Joanna, a lovely, inside and out lesbian couple who showed no interest in all the butterflies and frills a wedding could pull along. The day had to be a reflection of them… and so it was. A sunset beach ceremony followed by lots of music, laughter and why not.. alcoholic beverage!
A simple introduction for this next couple would not suffice, so the aim here is to juggle some extravagant but meaningful words to give credit to Jill and David. The love for each other came unexpectedly and without warning, because there is no age for that… Two kind souls, a very funny groom and an elegant bride whose wish was to share sunset with all their closest, came true on the 16th September 2019.
Our stylish Shannon and Alistair, tied the knot on a hot September afternoon at Limestone Heritage surrounded by their dear family and friends. Shannon stunned everyone with her beauty and a gown to go with it and Alistair didn’t disappoint or contrast. The two have been loyal to Malta and have a special place for our rock, which they happily call their second home and favorite destination to date.
Possibly the most humble, free spirit and easy going couple to date.. Lucy and Jay traveled from the Channel Islands to wed on yet another island, this time Gozo.
I had the pleasure to meet them both on the very same day of the wedding. They shared this special day with just their closest friends and who really made the best out of their day and even dared jumping in the water, simply… cause they felt like it. A special couple whom I personally look forward to meeting again in the near future.
The very next day saw Kerri and Nick vow their eternal love for each other at their themed secret garden wedding. A wedding with a difference, which screamed both their colorful personalities and their very own “cirque du soleil”
Allison, an American beauty with Gozitan roots and an equally handsome David, had a classic yet contemporary vision for their wedding. They managed to find the right measures to reflect both the Mediterranean traditions together with those of their homeland.
With nothing to spare and a lot to live up to, we wish all our dear friends a happy and healthy life together!
