This time Acquisition International has awarded us the prestigious title of Wedding Planning Agency of the Year 2020 – Malta in their 7th award addition. We work hard to keep our standards when it comes to destination wedding planning, and our main goal is always that to make our couple’s dream wedding come true.
The spirit behind Valentine’s day is beautiful, so are all the messages, posts, red fonts and all that comes with it. I am guilty as charged, as i find myself making an extra effort to say something on this day. Nothing wrong with that right? NO, but shouldn’t it be like this every day i find myself asking? absolutely!
Despite Brexit and all that is has brought with it, including the extra paperwork required for those couples who are choosing a destination wedding, Malta has been somewhat forgiving and has just passed a memo to waive the apostille on all the documents required for 2020 starting the new procedure of legalising documents with the apostille as of January 2021.
2019 has brought another set of successful weddings and events, a bunch of challenges and with that new learning curves resulting in a whole load of new tools to work with in the coming years. We met new people, have been blessed with new friends along the way, we have come across new and exciting opportunities and have nothing but appreciation for what this year has been for Wed in Malta.
It’s a generally accepted fact – wedding planning could be daunting for many couples who decide to take the ride alone. With an unending rundown of choices to be made, from the stylistic layout, to the dress to the food, and everything in between, the pressure can heap on at extremely quick speeds.
Along the years many couples have expressed their wish to opt for a symbolic ceremony for their destination wedding, instead of the more traditional religious or legally binding ceremony, more known as a civil wedding.
There is always a reason why a couple would decide to elope, but whatever the reason is, Malta and Gozo are surely the destinations that hosts with welcoming arms these couples. We are blessed with a vast number of venues, gardens and beach locations which cater for intimate weddings.
September has been a busy month for us and with that came being part of some lovely weddings and beautiful couples, we can now call friends.
For the second year in a row Wed in Malta managed to keep it’s top ranking position and win the prestigious title “Service Excellent Award” given by the Luxury Travel Guide London.
